TTAC Reviews the 2011 Lexus IS-F

I’ve really been enjoying the Lexus reviews over at The Truth About Cars, and the latest review of the 2011 IS-F by Jack Baruth is no different.

The focus is mainly on how the IS-F handles itself on the track, and the results match up with other reviews of the revised 2011 edition — except when it comes to the transmission, which is described as feeling like “bloody mechanical murder”.

The transmission seems like failed though ... I meant , not good enough if compare with it's rival . I doesn't hope for 6MT ... but instead , a 6AMT or 7-DSG would be fit better & more efficiency !

I'm tired of the ISF being described as a lesser car to the M3. 1st the M3 has been in production for MANY years being perfected over time. The ISF is pretty amazing being a 1st for LEXUS, what will it hold in future comparisons? 2nd after reading some of the readers comments about the interior being gaudy and tasteless because it's white?? and only douche bag Ed Hardy lovers would drive it?? I have always felt those types drive M3's.

I drove a 2009 IS-F with the crazy terracotta interior and didn't know what to think at first. After a week, I started to absolutely love it.

You can made it have shift feeling as well ... Mitsubishi's SST have bump clutch feel like MT . But DSG's point is , smooth shifting & continuous power connection .
