Lexus Welcomes New LFA Owners

Lexus has released the videos that are shown to new LFA buyers before receiving the keys to their newly acquired supercar — first, here’s a video welcome from Lexus USA General Manager Mark Templin:

Next is this short breakdown of the LFA’s white-glove journey from Japan to California:

And following it all up is a tour of the LFA with Paul Williamsen, National Manager of Lexus College, which is a pure dose of awesome:

This video is a must-watch — these smaller, more practical details about the LFA really take the car up to an extra level for me, something I wouldn’t have even thought possible.

(Thanks Allison!)

in the first video... would it have killed the photographer to use a a god dam tripod.... If you spend 300,000 + on the car and you don't know how to pop the hood you have problems and don't deserve owning an LFA lol

I find it amazing that the LFA doesn't have SmartAccess (just grab the door handle to unlock and no key inserted to start car).

In the 3rd video, it shows the lfa with a custom fitted car cover and battery charger. Does these come as standard or are they dealer optional extras? attention to detail to the max. Kudos LFA! By the way i may have pics to post about the lfa here from asia, can i submit to this awesome site.? Cheers :)

In the 3rd clip, the lfa is shown with a fitted car cover and battery charger. Does anyone know if these are standard lfa accessories or optional extras. I read the car comes with designer bags as part of the car delivery. :-)

I like the idea for the windshield whipper fluid in the same section as the gas :-) Plus thats cool seeing the battery behind the drivers seat.

As it says in the video, these are included with the standard LFA.

What?! There is no proximity sensor / keyless entry for this $400k car!? I didn't mind that you have to insert the key in the ignition. But seriously, even my 20k suzuki sx4 has that! I don't like the LFA anymore... JK ;-)

Oh... the quick release for the battery and charger are excellent accessories for the LFA. Knowing that most customers will be storing more often than driving the car.

oh no...he said that the brake rotors were "carbon fiber" instead of carbon ceramic. How did he become manager of Lexus College?

I got to sit in an LFA and play with it a little (got to rev it too!). I couldn't figure out how to make the tach move. I see now that it moves just to access the menu that is controlled by buttons on the steering wheel. I kept turning the knob to SPORT expecting something to happen and all it did was change color. I can't believe they use the same hood release leaver as on my old Toyota Tacoma.
