Last week, I gave the car its first hand wash and ended up discovering some light scratching on the rear bumper, most likely from its early life as a test car on Laguna Seca.
Of course, I couldn’t let them stand, so I set to work with my Porter Cable 7424 & Optimum Compound:
As a former professional detailer, I was amazed at how quickly the Liquid Platinum responded to such a light treatment — the scratches might have been barely noticeable, but they disappeared completely with very little work. Very impressed with the results.
