Desktop Wallpapers

I haven’t been able to take my eyes off the official Lexus LFA photos released last week, the macro shots in particular, so I cropped a selection of images for desktop wallpapers:

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the LFA, particularly in how it affects the Lexus brand on a whole. This puts F-Sport into an entirely different stratosphere, and it’s going to be very interesting to see LFA technology trickle down into next-generation IS-F & the potential GS-F.

At the request of the TLE regulars, I’ll be posting a couple of Lexus LX 570 wallpaper collections, starting off with three all taken at the same location:

While I didn’t take too many photos at the Lexus event last week, I did manage to find a great location for a couple IS 350C shots, and thought it would be something to put up wallpapers with the both the top-down and top-up:

I tried to capture both images from the exact same spot and angle, but wasn’t able to get it exact. Still, the signs on the bridge pillar make the photo.

With the Lexus IS-C arriving at dealerships this month, I thought it only fitting to put together a desktop wallpaper showing the convertible roof in action:

Pretty amazing to consider that it only takes 20 seconds for the roof to retract.

Keeping with the theme of my first GS 450h wallpaper, this image features a blue badge—this time from the front of the car. This was one of the last photos I took, and one of my absolute favorites. Enjoy!

One of the first things I did after completing my review of the Lexus IS 250 was buy myself a nice camera, a Canon Rebel XS to be exact, so that I could take better photos.

As a result, I took over 1,100 photos of the GS 450h for my review, and ended up with some great detail shots, which I’ll be posting up as desktop wallpapers over the next couple days. Here’s the first:
