Initial Lexus NX Orders in Japan Surpass Yearly Sales Goal

The Lexus NX is set to make a big sales impact in Japan — in just over a month, 9,500 orders have been made at dealerships. This is 1,357% of the expected sales goal of 700 units per month, meaning a full year’s inventory has already been sold.

It’s important to note that the final sales of these vehicles will be stretched over several months due to available stock, the 9,500 orders would represent a 20% increase over the 46,772 vehicles sold in Japan last year.

This thing totally rocks, if it'll have the same success in the US and above all,in Europe the 2015 would be the turning point for Lexus wich will become an authentic global player.

And again it is bound to fail miserably in Europe. In this segment 98% of the cars sold are Diesels. It will be launched with one engine only, a hybrid, at quite a premium price. So no don't expect any miracles!

Its a sucess in Poland too. They got so many preorders (till August) that its 30% of all cars sold by Lexus in 2013. Probably its even better now.
