Driving Across North America in the Lexus CT 200h F SPORT

This summer, in partnership with the OpenRoad Lexus dealership of Richmond, BC, my wife Karissa and I drove across North America in our brand new Lexus CT 200h.

Here’s how it happened, by the numbers: 6 days, 4,736 kms (2,943 miles), an average speed of 90km/hr (56mph), and $270 in gas.

Wait, what? $270 to drive cross-country? How is that even possible?

i would like to know if you have "missed" some more hp from the hybrid System? e.g. the powertrain from the new IS into the CT?

Greatest result! Congratulations. In a very interesting economy-run test made by the italian magazine Quattroruote, the CT delivered the amazing result of 131,5 km (82 miles) with just 5 liter of gas/1,32 gallons more or less.

Congrats on that! It's definitely a beautiful car, even without the blacked out roof :) hah, I've been in my '13 F-Sport for a year last month now and I'm loving every day of it.

Great write-up. I felt as though I was there in your CT. I do miss my CT's compact size, nimble handling, and overall ownership average of 5.2L /100km. But happy with the new IS now already 1 year owned. Curious to know why the 250 AWD was not for you.
