Yeah this isn't a surprise to me. You should seriously come to the UAE and see how many LXs are on the road. I see at least one every day on the way to and back from work; a 20 min drive.

Have you been to Qatar? You should see the amount of Land Cruiser's and LX 570's on the roads here. You won't even be able to count how many you see.
    H
Hahaha yeah count me one of them :p

I read what you wrote before you removed it. I think the reaction has been appropriate. There were many of us who were deeply offended. But that said, everyone has put their foot in their mouth at one time or another; I certainly have and I am a public speaker by profession. It's just a shame it was in such a public forum. I do salute you for stepping up, admitting you were wrong, and apologizing. Words are very powerful, but so is grace.

Is the LX becoming the "White BMW" for those in the UAE/Dubai? The White BMW reference is from Family Guy by the way, and not a slight to anyone really.

People can't joke anymore? I'm jamaican and people always think I smoke or sell ganja because of the car I own and I don't flip out and act like an idiot, calm down guys! Jeez!

While your comment has been edited and I'm unsure what it said, I can gather from the following comments that it was deeply offensive. At this point, I'll take you at your word that it was said in jest -- however, let this serve as a warning. Any more offensive comments and you will have your comment privileges taken away.

I read what you wrote before you removed it. I think the reaction has been appropriate. There are many of us who are upset because we know many good people who frequent the site would be seriously offended. But all of that said, everyone has put their foot in their mouth at one time or another (assuming what you said was in jest); I certainly have and I am a public speaker by profession. Why do you people care so much about a comment on the net. What really interests me is when a new LX is coming up and will there ever be a LX F? I'm a big fan of this magnificently comfortable car.
