Lexus Named Top Luxury Brand in KBB 2014 5-Year Cost to Own Awards

For the second year in a row, Lexus was named the top luxury brand in the Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards.

The awards are based on analysis of the 5-year ownership costs of 2014 model-year vehicles, and looks at the purchase price, financing costs, insurance costs and state fees along with the anticipated costs of depreciation, fuel, scheduled maintenance and repairs.

Lexus also performed well in the individual categories, with the LS 460 placing first in the High-End Luxury Car segment and the RX taking the Hybrid SUV/Crossover segment.

Congratulations LEXUS ! I am a long time owner of LEXUS and TOYOTA vehicles. These awards are just another validation of why I am so loyal to the Brand. I recently traded an 2007 SUV with 146,000 miles on it that I originally paid $52K for new. I received $27K trade value for this vehicle. What other automaker in the world do you get that kind of return on your Investment ? There is none…..Value, Resale, Quality, Dependability is like no other…..

Good to see Lexus collecting continuous awards. I just hope these rewards are not fake, in the sense Lexus pays/bribes, like some German car companies do.

I have seriously lost track of all the awards that Lexus wins. Keep up the good work Lexus and continue to put quality first and you will remain at the top.
