Video: Mega Factories Tour of the Lexus LFA Works

The latest episode of National Geographic TV show Mega Factories documents the production of the Lexus LFA at the Motomachi plant in Japan — here’s the full forty-five minute episode, which I would strongly recommend watching before it disappears from Youtube:

This is truly the definitive look at the LFA Works operation — the Mega Factories film crew had unprecedented access to every step of the process, and the result is an amazing glimpse into the detail and dedication required to build the Lexus supercar.

WOW, that was awesome. I was hoping NG was going to do that for the LFA. I had almost given up. Anybody questions the price or purpose of this car should watch this video. The amount of hand work that goes into building that tub is incredible. To think that car starts with a sheet of cloth is amazing.

Kind of makes the $375,000 price tag seem worth it.  So far this is my favorite car of all time...
