These are STEEP price increases from the 2012 models, rising from $4360 for the LS460 to $7160 for the LS600hL AWD. Somebody told the press that prices would remain about the same during the press junket a couple of months ago, and Autoweek just yesterday said that in their review of the new LS. It's all very curious, the refresh when the car needs a redesign, and the spike in prices, when the car doesn't justify it. What will happen with the 2015 model?  Another $4-5k increase? BD

Considering all the new standard features (noted above), I don't know if the price increase is out of line. Seems justified to me. (Also something to consider is the rising yen -- nothing Lexus can do about that.)

I'd rather them bite the bullet, and take a little less up front, and build on the value equation until the new model comes, then cash in. After about 6 months, after the novelty has worn off, this will be a tough sell.  Lexus is dropping the ball on this one...... BD

i agree too i think most Lexus cars are under price.. this starts at 71.. the s class starts at 92.. and Lexus quality is beyond anything.. i hate how people think Lexus should always price their cars below MB and BMW i don't see why should they if they are better..  yes they have history but u cant sell a car base on history and HP... I also know you wanted a fresh car and not a face lift ( well you expected it) its OK to be wrong sometimes, so was i but i am happy Lexus took this approach because so far everyone else did a face lift with their Flagship cars Audi BMW and so will MB they added a 12'3 screen like LEXUS and i can bet when that car comes out it will also have a price increase  the only think am sad about with this car is that it doesn't have a panoramic roof and that Lexus doesn't have a good rear seat entertainment system but i also understand that they are on the biggest change(overhaul) of there lives and the market is hard especially what happened with the earth-quake now china anti japan protest ... Lexus doesn't offer anything below a V8 in the LS the S Class has a V6 that's 92000 i bet that's OK because they are MB.. i think Lexus cars are way under price and the price of the new LS is just fine to me people will pay for it and the car will make up for it... i see more older Lexus LS on the road then any S CLASS the car will pay for it self

When will the 2015 model launch? 2015 or late 2014? I am planning to get a LS but not the facelifted one. Merc S class is about to launch early next year. Can't wait to compare them.

Looks pretty made up by somebody. The GS Hybrids powertrain would make sense.  A LOT of sense. The 300h not so much...... BD
    W
ahaha Well, if it's a mistake, then it's by Lexus USA PR itself because I saw this myself! Unless... Lexus hires someone else to take care of its page... Team One perhaps?

Didn't say it was a mistake. Lexus definitely doesn't have any mention of these models on their website, nor did they mention them at their LS Launch party a couple of months ago.  So it's more likely a fan just making stuff up. I WOULD expect a base V6 model in 2015, and a switch to the GS Hybrid powertrain at that time as well.  And a Turbo V8 setup replacing the Hybrid set up as the top model. Lexus could offer a low-end and high-end hybrid too..... BD

ahaha It's not made up! It's by me! I found it myself! I'm "Lexus and The Pursuit"! :P In case the problem hasn't been fixed yet, just go to the LS gallery, click on one of the pictures to enlarge it! Then, click Facebook under share, and you should see the same thing!

Thanks for making that up. I guess some people would be proud of that...... BD

Wow... It's one thing to doubt, but why so distrusting?! Have you even tried the directions I have provided you?!

Can't really expect much from those who still comment on LeftLaneNews, eh?

You don't have proof of that, stop accusing others of making false reports when you have actually reported false information or hearsay with little hesitation.

Sure I have proof that it doesn't exist! There is no such model on Lexus' website, nor was it mentioned in any Lexus press release. You have any proof that it exists? Oh....... BD

I believe you, as I have proof of it as well. During my travels last week, I noticed the 2013 LS had been added the Lexus website, but fell asleep before getting to the gallery. I then saw a comment about the LS350 and LS300h on here, so I confirmed it with a web search, really intent on a cached page. The result below is what I found. Whoever is debunking your statement needs to do better research before spouting off.
    W
Thank you! I really appreciate that! (=

This is a simple error, likely caused by the web team at Lexus cutting & pasting from the ES 350 & ES 300h section. I have no idea what we're arguing about here, so I'm shutting it down. Let's move on.

$10,000 seems like a lot to step up from a base model to F sport without any powertrain upgrades.

Looks like the F sport package (on RWD models) gets you get a body kit, nicer wheels/summer tires, Brembo brakes, different interior trim, paddle shifters, upgraded suspension and limited slip differential.  These are desirable features -- just seems overpriced for $10,000.

i just wish they boost the power in all there F-sport models so they can be separated apart say maybe a 25 hp increase along with a 25lb/ft of torque imo
