    Technology improves tremendously overtime. Competition also guides the improvements. Meanwhile, every automaker is trying to keep the weight down. Just look at the BMW MINI. It's much larger than those from the days of yore, but its interior room is smaller!

ouch but it does POOR on that new offset test!!! wth. i mean it did poor at least acceptable would have been better. just wasnt expecting that..but i still like the Volvo tho.

    It hasnt been tested with the new offset test...the old model got a poor.

    hmm are you looking at the small overlap test? That is up to the 12MY. This es is 13MY.

    oops my bad ..didnt checked on that year thing. But still i wasnt hoping for a poor result for that year too. Now all cars have a good front/side test no biggie there..Now the important is for other new test. The bar has been set for front/side test

Why wouldn't the important new test be done? Why would a top pick rating be given if an important test wasn't done? Has it been done on other cars? Which ones did well?
