Imagining a Lexus LF-CC Sedan

Photochopper Theophilus Chin has created a sedan from the Lexus LF-CC coupe concept:

While the front and rear are relatively untouched, this rendering demonstrates the flexibility of the LF-CC design — it’s easy to imagine the concept as a coupe or sedan, and that cohesiveness is very appealing.

Something about the rear door shape and roof line give off an upright pudgy look almost like a BMW 1 series, but then again it's growing on me as I write this.

Agreed.  Very 1-Series like in the rear haunches and roof-line.  The rest however, pure magic.  Could we really be getting a poor-mans, "mini-LFA" here soon?  The interior, minus the translucent haptic-touch screens, has me sold.  Please let the V6 have at least 350hp though ...

That rear isn't "flowing" too well for me...

How the sedan will look will tell us a lot about whether it started life in in a sketch book as a sedan or a coupe. This is based of the coupe, and then modifying it to be a sedan.  I doubt Lexus' first design sketch of the IS was a coupe..... BD

rear looks a bit "pig nosed" - not as clean as it could and should be - otherwise .... hello new IS??!! I just hope that the concept elements make it into the road version and that the sedan is not a watered down version - that would be an opportunity missed.

If any Lexus representatives are reading this, please note that the spindle grill looks better with the  middle edge of the grill aligned with the headlights like in the sketch:  http://cdn.thelexusenthusiast.com/images/weblog/12-09-18-lexus-lf-cc-sketch-front.jpg Or like in the LF-LC.  It does not have to be low as the RX or ES but it should be lower than the LS, GS and in the LF-CC.  I see the edge should be at the middle of the logo, but if you see the LF-LC, it looks much better for lower middle edge grill.
