So no CT300h or similar power option for 2013?

    • http://lexusenthusiast.com krew

I don’t think there’s anything preventing Lexus from releasing a higher-powered CT later — as long as the packages & options stay the same.

  • Matt

Very surprised they haven’t altered the suspension.

    • Brendan

      Why do you say that?

      • enthusiast88

I think the suspension is spot on just like it is. If they would just add a little more power then I might consider putting one in my garage.

      • Matt

Think it may be country specific but in the UK there have been loads of complaints that the suspension is far to hard for the state of our roads. Really needs a softer setting.

Honestly , they’re not only too hard for UK road .

  • BlackDynamiteNY

This car should have the Camry’s 4-banger and the Camry Hybrid’s powertrain

    • enthusiast88

I agree!. This current engine is outdated as evident by the fact that the ES 300h is much larger, quicker, and gets almost the same mileage.

  • Mike DeLorca

I think this vehicle needs two to three engine variants to really be successful…..the hybrid and possibly two others to meet buyer interest.  The CT has such incredible possibilities to make high volume numbers……

  • Carmaker1

This must be the 2014 model then as we’ve seen this car since January, but nothing currently for sale 100% matches it.

    • enthusiast88

      It’s the 2013.

      • Carmaker1

No, it isn’t as obviously none of the CT line-up looks like that via spindle grille interpretation. I didn’t see anywhere where cosmetic changes were listed for 2013, so I mentioned that for a reason. Why would they include this in teaser images if it wasn’t to be hidden for future release? There is a reason why I added that image as I have yet to see any stock Lexus CT look 100% like this and the above doesn’t any information on it. This is what the F-Sport currently looks like, which differs from the teaser images. I do hope someone can explain this lack of info.

Sorry, I originally saw your post while on an iPad and didn’t see the thumbnail picture you had attached. I thought you were referring to the information that Krew provided.

    • Jake

Yeah and we will probably see the CT300h in 2013 as 2014 MY.

That is the Front of a 2013 LS which you should in dealerships in Nov of this year

      • Carmaker1

You have that very wrong, as they look nothing alike. We’ve seen that LS teaser so many times to know better and also by August, so many actual photos of it.

  • Lexus Kurasaki

The CT looks so awesome! I hope they just added a little more room in the back seat.

    • Thomas

I dont think room is something you “add” just like that, as it is ofcourse limited by the size of the car.

  • James

    New factory areo kit coming.

Thanks for the info you provide! Seem to be very helpful on the otherwise extremely secretive Lexus. It’s too bad no one took you seriously concerning the LS facelift many months ago.

The 2013 CT much like the 2013 GX will not have the spindle grill for this year.

  • JP

I LOVE this car.. I drove it for a day while my GX470 was in service… I initially poo-poo’d the engine, but had a great day of driving.
