Lexus Magazine Interview with IS F Chief Engineer

This past weekend, Lexus Magazine had a chance to interview IS F chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi as he watched his latest creation, the IS F CCS-R, participate in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

(The best part: Yaguchi-san mentions the possibility of a production IS F CCS-R race car twice.)

    It finished 32nd overall and 2nd in its class. That’s quite a feat.

    There are lessons aplenty to be learned from racing,so I’m sure the next ISF will benefit from the Pikes Peak participation. A Pikes Peak edition of the current model with aesthetics and some performance mods would be a nice last hurrah before the new IS arrives.
