Lexus Magazine Interview with IS F Chief Engineer


This past weekend, Lexus Magazine had a chance to interview IS F chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi as he watched his latest creation, the IS F CCS-R, participate in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

(The best part: Yaguchi-san mentions the possibility of a production IS F CCS-R race car twice.)

Hows the car did on Pikes Peak ?

    I think the IS F should of done better because a Hyundai Genesis Coupegpt first first place. Lexus should do better than Hyundai

There are lessons aplenty to be learned from racing,so I'm sure the next ISF will benefit from the Pikes Peak participation. A Pikes Peak edition of the current model with aesthetics and some performance mods would be a nice last hurrah before the new IS arrives.
