Making it Rain on a Lexus LX 570

This video showing off the 2013 Lexus LX 570 is full of puzzling imagery:

At first, I didn’t get the connection between the LX and this torrent of water, but add this equally peculiar commercial from the Al Sayer Group in Kuwait and it starts to make some symbolic sense:

Maybe I’m reading it wrong, but in a part of the world where a Ferrari Enzo can be left dirty and abandoned, bathing a pristine SUV in water would seem to be the ultimate extravagance — perfect for marketing a giant luxury SUV in the Middle East.

Maybe Bathing it in water is like bathing in luxury, where water is considered as a luxury in those parts of the world

That's the only thing that would make sense to me.

Wish I had the income to own such a beast of a SUV. This LX would be is all you would ever need from a vehicle

hmmmm... I wonder if Lexus put the same 4wd system in thus updated LX. Don't get me wrong there 4wd system is awesome but it seems that Lexus 4WD and AWD systems are slowly falling behind other manufacturers. We can see other companies quattro, xdrive blah blah blah and so on. Hope Lexus comes out with a new AWD system soon.

the LX570 need panoramic roof and maybe a change to a diesel. By adding more power to the heavy SUV, more towing capacity, and MPG which everyone would love by far for many of the place we live in has higher gas prices, just driving around with a big car like this would suffer the wallet.

i've been with lexus since 1990 (sc 400).  i've currently owned a lx460 and i currently own a lx570. this truck is as close to perfect as you can get.  90,000 miles and 0 problems. the dealership and service dept are the best. i was going to trade my 09 lx570 in for a 13 lx.  however, lexus has now coupled the levinson sound system with the dvd package.  the levinson system ls far superior to the standard.  i take many road trips and enjoy my levinson sount system with my 108 cd downloads and sat radio.  what makes it worse is that the dvd screens are in back of the headrests and protrude rear ward.  passangers in the back seat have black square in their face which is very annoying.  imo a bad design.  i thought i'd never say this but i am checking out mercedes, bmw, rr, infinity, and acura.
