2013 Lexus ES 250 Introduced in China

Built to satisfy the Chinese market demand for large luxury cars and low-displacement engines, the 2013 Lexus ES 250 had its official debut last week at the Beijing Auto Show.

Equipped with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine (likely the 2AR-FE) and a six-speed automatic transmission, the ES 250 was the subject of the very first spy photos of the sixth-generation ES way back in February.

(Availability outside of China is currently unknown, but it’s likely the ES 250 will be limited to the Chinese market for the time being.)

If Lexus wants to succeed outside the US they must do more of this for those markets.  Nexts years IS300h and GS300h will be a big step forward.  Also need LS450h or even LS350
