2013 Lexus GS F-Sport Revealed in South Africa

Expected to debut at SEMA in November, the Lexus GS F-Sport has been unveiled early by Lexus South Africa at the Johannesburg Motor Show — here’s some photos from their Facebook announcement:

Admittedly, these photos don’t reveal the full package, but let’s do some cropping, starting with the front-end:

We caught a glimpse of the front-end in the earlier teaser image, but there’s something more impressive about seeing the whole package all at once. Image quality aside, I’m liking that mesh grille.

The only other noticeable exterior difference is the rear spoiler:

Beyond these photos, there’s still much to learn about the new GS F-Sport — more information is sure to follow.

Update: Edited for clarity.

I like it as well.....I am glad to see the shape of the lower area where fog lights are located on regular GS....does this mean there are no lights at all in that lower area????   No LED strips, etc.?   The angle of the opening is very nice....tired of the conventional round look down there.  Now if we could get a real full blown  GSF Beast to look at........I am so anxious for that baby....

I just love it, the only boring thing is this colour wich is very obvious and I think the electric blue is the best choice for this sport package or eventually the white pearl.

I agree.. people keep saying "black out grill" but this IMO looks better and more classy more bling showing this is an expensive car. Black it out kind of kills all that good stuff... but I guess if your into blacked out parts then hey

That should be available with GS450h F-Sport. According to the Facebook Album description, this is the GS350 F-Sport.

Looking sleek !  Cant wait to see it riding low.. . .

Sweet! I love how the lower front fascia isn't just cladded on! There really should be LED strips though. I've always liked how Lexus cars had that foglight balance. Daytime running lights should be good enough.

Great. Thanks for the photos. The new Lexus GS-F design has a sleek and contemporary element of design.

It'll be interesting to see to what degree,if any,the F-sport trim level limits your choices of exterior and interior colours.
