Car & Driver Reviews the Lexus CT 200h


The Car & Driver review of the Lexus CT 200h has been posted to their website, and for the most part, it’s an unflattering look at the new hybrid hatchback.

As per usual, it’s the hybrid engine’s lack of power that continues to be a negative point, though the reviewer was impressed by the exterior design, likening it to a “Japanese VW GTI”.

Hating makes people want to do better, but when the hating is unreasonable, no one is going to take it seriously. I wish Lexus doesn't slow its momentum in trying to impress these auto critics!

I'm sure it's a fine car.  But I prefer cars that have hidden trunks & look like...cars.  Not interested in a stationwagon.

I think that this time I have to agree with C&D's criticism of Lexus, this car is truly unworthy in every sense. As mentioned in the article both the HS & CT are based on the Corolla platform, imagine that a Lexus built on a Corolla platform?!
