It was a solid month for all of Lexus’ volume models, with the ES, IS & RX all showing a healthy increase over last year, but the HS sales decline during that same time balances out the positive numbers.

Of course, the big thing coming up is the CT 200h, which is sure to offset the slumping numbers in Lexus’ older models.

Canada

Lexus sold 837 units in February, down 7.2% from last year.

Japan

Lexus moved 3,473 units in its home country, up 3% over last year.

    Note the year in the headings will need to show 2011 and 2010?

    The HS250 #’s are down because they stopped building 2010’s ahwile ago, and there are no 2011’s. It will skip to 2012. I think the GX460 #’s are down because the factory couldn’t keep up with demand. Many dealers in the Northeast are sold out or barely have any inventory. Overall, I think the market is very favorable for Lexus.

    After the CT200h, I think Lexus need to push on the next GS.

    Is a 2011 HS sheduled for the states. If yes, when does it arrive there.

  • lexusjoe

    @SithfromSwiss: There will be a 2012 HS250 arriving later this Spring. No 2011’s although Lexus DID make a brochure for a 2011 HS ?????

    @lexusjoe:
    a 2012 ? do you have a source ? i’d like to know the changes ^^

    Not true on the HS data. 2011 HS’s to arrive at dealers for March 2011. Lexus decided to pause for a bit and re release HS’s along with the CT. Decreased production with less than 50 units for our SouthWest region. CT’s in the showroom…very cool.
    To Mack: No changes to the 2011 except all Lexus have had the words “Lexus” removed so that the lone L symbol is present.
    @lexusjoe: 8-)

    @McWitz: I stand corrected. I was going by what I was originally told from the factory. I looked at my inventory and realized I have 2011 HS’s coming in. (unfortunately lol). I was hoping they would stop production all together.
