Lexus LFA with Blue Interior & No Remote Touch

While looking through the Lexus LFA owner’s manual, I came across this very unique interior configuration (click for a larger image):

While it’s nice to see a different color scheme after the sea of red we saw with the first North American LFAs, the biggest thing about this interior isn’t the color, but the lack of a Remote Touch controller and the entire Navigation System!

The weight savings from deleting such a large interior component is likely significant, which is an important consideration if the owner expects to be spending a lot of time at the track. Makes for a strange looking interior, though.

(The next question has to be, will we ever see this Metallic Silver/Blue Interior LFA outside of the owner’s manual?)

wow... that's very interesting. I'm very curious to how the RX would look like without the Remote Touch and the GPS! Would it still have a screen like the 1st-generation RX did?

I see what you didn't do there. No remote touch means both hands on the wheel. And focus on piloting the LFA.

Krew: Did you find the weight specifications of the LFA?? Is LFA's dry weight 3263 lbs with all the standard equipment or the stripped down version is 3263?? I am very confused about LFA's weight. The official weight is 3263 lbs, but is it with all the standard luxury weight or the stripped weight??

Here's the specs out of the owner's manual: I would expect the weights we're seeing are with most options, I'm sure we'll see independent weights of the production model soon.
