Lexus 2010 Year-in-Review

With 2010 coming to a close, there’s no better time to look back on the year that was, so here’s a bullet-point breakdown of the last twelve months:

January

February

March

  • The extra-limited LFA Nürburgring Edition was announced. Only 50 will be made.
  • After seeing the LFA in only black or white, a super-red verison was spotted in Japan.

April

May

June

July

August

September

October

November

December

To say it’s been an up-and-down year would be an understatement, with the recalls being balanced out by the growing public realization that Lexus has created something special with the LFA. It certainly sets the stage for an exciting 2011!

BTW, Lexus LFA had won the MotorTrend comparison against the Nissan GTR. Krew, why no mention of Lexus LFA's engine being awarded "Best engine of the year" by Evo magazine beating out 458 Italia, SLS AMG, GT3 & GT2 RS, LP570-4 and GTR??

That year went by fast! I was disappointed I wasn't able to get my own 2011 IS before the end of 2010. Hoping I'll get it early in 2011!

I remember when the LFA was just a concept to dream about... I remember when 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 seemed so far into the future. I remember when the LFA was nearly canned! I REMEMBER WHEN THE LFA WAS POSTPONED EVEN FURTHER AND SUDDENLY APPEARED RIGHT HERE ON THE The Lexus Enthusiast! I remember struggling to like it at first, but when I saw the LFA in person, felt it in person, and heard it in person, I was in LOVE!!!
