Lexus December to Remember Commercials

Lexus has been running these commercials constantly during NFL games. I have seen them all many times. I just wish there was an IS F one! I too thought, "who in the world gets a car as a Christmas present?" Lexus isn't the only one pushing that idea as there have been countless Mercedes, BMW and Ford commercials too.

These commercials are classic. The others continue to try and imitate. As far as a present...what's the difference if you have a payment this month or next? At least you will have a brand new one under the tree. I will be delivering them all month long. Happy Holidays.

My dad bought my mom a is350c last christmas... complete with the giant red bow. It was great! :D

Just curious-- did your mom know about it beforehand?

I ordered a 2011 Lexus IS350 RWD it should hopefully be here in time for Christmas present. But the wife all ready knows ;-) Also its for me :-) so who cares, LOL. Happy Holidays, love the Lexus vids.;-)

The "Chimney" commercial is trying too hard, and ends up a mess. First, two shots of contemporary/Colorado chimneys. We're supposed to recognize these as two different houses. Then a smiling woman in a stocking cap. We're supposed to recognize that it's the same woman, who in the next shot, is standing by a third contemporary house. But, alas, this one has a giant chimney (it may look like a wall, but it's not). Now we're supposed to realize she was admiring her chimney, and waiting for Santa. See, there are cookies, that proves it. Finally, a woman with long hair (is it the same one?) is leading some black guy in pajamas to find a Lexus in the living room of what must be the same house as the third one, although it has a fire going strong. Easy!

Haha. You must have seen this commercial quite a few times! (Not to mention that anyone living in one of those houses isn't going to be all that impressed with an IS. ;-) )

I think if you buy your wife a car for xmas you are a cheap sob.  How about the millions of guys that buy a car for their wives during the year and still have to pony up some big cash for an actual christmas gift??
