Lexus CT 200h F-Sport Package

Lexus CT 200h F-Sport Package

We knew it was coming — today, Lexus pulled the covers off and revealed the CT 200h F-Sport package at the the Australian International Motor Show — some photos first of all:

As for specific changes, here’s a direct quote from the Lexus Australia press release:

F Sport CT 200h receives a number of visual and performance enhancements in keeping with Lexus’ F Sport model line-up.

Performance and exterior enhancements include unique suspension, front and rear styling, alloy wheels and badging, along with the choice of Lexus’ unique Flame Blue exterior colour.

Inside, F Sport model CT 200h will receive optional unique interior trim, F Sport steering wheel, sports pedals, scuff plates, instrument panel and privacy glass.

Liking the look of this, especially the front-end and wheels, though it’s too bad the wheel size didn’t increase to 18″. I’m figuring the unique suspension mentioned are the springs and swaybars from the expected CT F-Sport accessories.

Australia’s set to get the F-Sport package some time in the first half of 2011, and I would expect some variation of this to show up in Europe & North America as well.

As it happens, The Motor Report was attending the autoshow and snapped some live photos — take a look:

  3. I can't believe how much the front-end looks like an IS F, it's unreal.
  4. I LITERALLY fell off my chair i thought it was an ISF! If its under 35k...oh Lord.. :-D
  5. This is much better then the normal one... I like it!
  6. RDS

    Remind me of IS-F ... :o
  7. WOW. I had no idea Lexus was gonna do this. I still want a 2011 IS350 F-Sport though! 8-)
  8. Looks fantastic!

Yowzers thats nice! Aren't the wheels the standard rims painted gray? Just wondering, but I love everything else about it especially the grille!
  10. I'd love to have a hi-res version of the shot with the LFA in the background.Make a terrific wallpaper.
  11. Krew it's amazing i like it

Stunning... now gimme some bigger wheels and something closer to 200 HP and I'm in!
  13. The CT F-Sport looks good, certainly what the car needed and makes it an attractive proposition. Furthermore ... Australia finally gets the IS350 and on display at the Oz Motor Show is a hot looking white IS350 F-Sport. Such a nice looking car. Actually, Lexus Australia has put on a good display which includes the CT F-Sport, IS350 F-Sport, LFA and ofcourse the regulars in Australia being other IS models (250, convertible and IS-F) aswell as the GS, LS, RX and LX. In recent times, Lexus Australia has slowly been gaining momentum and it is good to see.

Now all this car needs is AWD and about 300hp.8-)

I've seen the CT in person, and it looks great in the front, but this F-Sport version looks awesome. Very bold and demeaning. Doesn't look like a hybrid at all. Front-wise, it looks a lot better than an IS. If they can close the gap between the tires and the fender, it will look amazing.

Just waiting on my account approval for the Lexus Australia pressroom, and once I have that, I'll post up a better quality photo gallery. :-)

Absolutely agree, and getting the opportunity to debut the CT F-Sport package just goes to show how important the market has become. Also, very impressed by the press photos. :-)

I wonder if this CT F-Sport has the TRD lowering springs -- it's hard to judge the wheel gap. Like I mentioned, too bad the wheels weren't 18".
  19. For those you may be interested ... go to 'The Motor Report' (an Australian car site) and published 15 Oct'10 is a story about the launch of the IS350 for our local market at the Oz Motor Show however what i want you to look at is the 2 awesome pictures of the red(ish) IS350. I love those pics so much i saved them into my collection. Makes me wonna go and buy one now !! YEEEHAA .. us Aussies finally get the IS350 downunder, been waiting for this moment for yonks.
  20. PLEASE... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. LOWER THE CAR Looks nice btw.
  21. Looks good. I am with those that think it needs bigger wheels. The car is just to thick and tall for the wheels that are on it. Now lets get a real engine in it and I might be interested.
  22. I’m a little disappointed (although I can’t say surprised) with how much they toned it down. I just saw the LF-ch at the Toronto show and it looked so much better in person than in the pictures. I was expecting it to be ugly, but it certainly wasn’t. Hybrid = Fail Wagon = Win Lexus = Fail However, I dig the lines of this one. Nice job, Lexus! Now just drop a 2JZ-GTE and a 5-speed in one and we’ll be set!
