2010 Lexus iPod USB Upgrade from VAIS Technology

VAIS Technology have updated their VML MultiMediaLinQ to include 2010 Lexus models, and it’s just the thing for anyone looking to upgrade the iPod & USB integration:

As you can see, the experience remains the same, but files are no longer auto-selected while scrolling. Also, the entire interface gets a 30% speed bump, and installation is simple:

The VML MultiMediaLinQ also works on almost any Lexus since 2001 — visit the VAIS Technology website for full details.

(Full disclosure: VAIS Technology is a sponsor of The Lexus Enthusiast.)

Can someone comment on the quality of the music when connecting music players by USB or Bluetooth? Usually, the tiny Aux input ruins the whole experience.

USB is crystal clear, and sounds great on any Lexus system. Bluetooth, on the other hand, starts distorting at higher volumes.

Krew, when you had the RXh did you try out the iPod connection? Was it really annoying?

Just bought 2010 Lexus IS and connected my Motorola Droid cell via USB and I'm getting an "error" on the display. I can connect via Bluetooth but not with USB cable. Any help is would be appreciated.

I don't know the specifics with a Droid and the Lexus USB system, but you might want to try using an AUX cable instead of Bluetooth -- much better sound quality.

This is a great idea; thanks Viastech. My least favorite feature of the Gen 6 nav is the "autoplay" when you’re just browsing. I complained about that from the beginning, I'm glad I wasn't the only one that hated it. I am definitely buying this.

I found it frustrating, especially the auto-select and the system speed -- if I owned a 2010 Lexus with USB integration & nav, I would get this box for sure.
