Lexus LFA Takes SP8 Class in 57th ADAC Nürburgring Race

This weekend, the Gazoo Lexus LFA race car took part in the 57th ADAC Westfalenfahrt four-hour race at Nürburgring, where it took 28th place overall and first in the SP8 class. Some photos from the race:

The racing team of Iida Akira, Wakisaka Juichi, & Ohshima Kazuya overcame a first lap pitstop and a resulting fall to P143 to emerge top in its class, making this the third consecutive year the Lexus LFA has done so.

@Holly: No, it means that the LFA took top spot in its class -- the race is broken up into different groups, who all race at once.
