Lexus RX & IS Win Best Overall Value Awards


Intellichoice Best Overall ValueIntellichoice announced their annual Best Overall Values of the Year awards at the Chicago Auto Show last week, and Lexus was well represented. The IS took the Luxury Sports Sedan/Wagon category and the RX was named the best overall value in the Luxury Crossover category and the Best Crossover/SUV value over $28,000.

  1. According to KBB, my LS went from $8k to $7k from summer of 2009 to winter of 2009 (6 MONTHS ONLY!). Then, the recall, although there weren’t any actual proof that any LS models were involved, affected the value of my LS even more - LOST ANOTHER $1000 IN JUST ONE MONTH!

    I am hopeful that once the media frenzy blows over, and time passes as people separate the hype from reality, that the long term effect will be negligible.
