Lexus F-Sport Event at the Auto Club Speedway
If you may recall, there was an F-Sport event in Fontana, California last Thursday, and videos and photos of the event are making their way online—for a start, there’s this video put together by Unlimited Illuminations that features great footage of an IS F lap around the Auto Club Speedway:
Too bad that poor guy had to pass on a lap in the LFA because he couldn’t fit inside—good luck for his friend, I suppose.
I was also sent some photos from Michael Ojaghian from Lexus of Glendale, who also was lucky enough to get a lap in the LFA:

Last but not least, The Perfect Exposure also has a photo gallery from the event, which included this photo of the LFA:

Be sure to check out the rest of the gallery, it’s full of amazing photos.
(Thanks Michael & Roberto!)

LOL… that sucks! And this is why you have friends. aha jk
The LFA I want. The complaints those people made about the materials used under the hood I agree. So composed the IS F feels.
couldn’t fit inside!? i’d go get lipo right then and there to fit in the thing! btw is that matte paint going to be an option because it’s AMAZING!
Yep!
looks like the video is gone!
I found the video again and updated the post.
thanx!
wow i can’t believe how good the LFA looks in black. and Michael Ojaghian! that guy’s Armenian like me, so are the two guys on the far right on the second picture on the website. i know Michael from Lexus of Glendale, great guy, i’ve seen him a few times. anyways, wow the trunk is really making me impressed at how big it is! and THE WOOD AROUND THE TRUNK!!! my God i love it! AND IT HAS MARK LEVINSON WRITTEN NICELY TOO! the LFA could easily be made into a mid engine car or even a 4 seater. really, look at all that room! it’s a pity that there’s nothing there to cover something from smacking your head if your break hard and something flies over on you. i guess that’s what the rug and hooks are for then, eh? even the key looks amazing. it sucks he couldn’t fit though…my favorite pictures are the first one of the LFA on the website and the one showing the lights on at night.
Like how I’ve said a few times before, I find the LFA to be a great platform for Lexus hybrids. Maybe Lexus can extend the wheelbase and car width of the LFA platform for an F-sedan that would compete against the dormant Infiniti sedan based on the GTR. I bet people considering the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera would definitely consider such a car, and even more, with the chassis designed to support an engine mounted extremely low, Lexus can just bypass the idea of a hybrid powertrain with a powerful gas engine and instead place a big electric engine and batteries low in the vehicle and simply add a tiny gas engine for both power and sound support - think Fisker Karma.
that’s actually the first thing that came into my mind, was a 4 door LFA..possibly the “LFA4”? hopefully it takes after the Rapide’s shape instead of the hideous hunchback Panamera…but really guys i’m excited to the point where i might soil myself! its my birthday this weekend, and my mom says that they have bought a gift for me and she won’t tell me what…also she won’t let me see the garage….
can’t wait
HUGE advice: Make sure that they realize you were serious when you expressed your interests in Lexus and dislike towards Mercedes-Benz. Parents, sometimes, just don’t understand. aha
Enjoy your new bike!
jk, but if it is a new bike, then… hehe Or…
anyways, Happy Early Birthday!
haha, good one. thanks anyway for the birthday!
seeing as how i don’t use my bike too often, i doubt that for sure! but a benz as my first car? not even my parents would go that extreme…or would they?...guess i’ll find out soon enough. if they lift it to reveal a new smoky granite mica IS350 F sport i think i’ll have a stroke.
anyways
it sort of disappointed me that they didn’t put halo ring headlights on the LFA…it would have really made the car..
Wow, lucky guy LFAaddict ! so your garage is off limits till that day.
Hmm… Maybe it’s an IS C or could be an HS
Anyway Happy B’Day to you.
Where’s the LFA’s parking brake ? Can’t make out a foot-operated pedal or electronic switch in those pictures.
Wow, be sure to let us know what’s in the garage—and happy birthday!
thanks! no clues being given yet though…
thanks from LEXUS BOY as well.
@LFAaddict: Happy birthday!:-D
