Lexus RX 350 Manufacturing Special on The Discovery Channel Tomorrow

Tomorrow night, Discovery Channel show Factory Made will be airing a behind-the-scenes look at the building of a Lexus RX 350—from the show description:
Starting as 50-tons of steel and emerging as a precision driving machine, take the front seat to an amazing manufacturing process. Welcome to the Lexus plant where the new RX350 is built. And, learn what’s behind diamonds and concession popcorn poppers.
Unfortunately, this will only be airing in the US so I won’t be able to see it myself, but maybe someone will capture it and put it on YouTube…
Factory Made will be showing Friday June 19th at 8pm, with a repeat showing at 11pm.

i agree.. it´s time for Toyota Motor Kyushu too become a little bit “public”. A plant that exists since 1992 and has grown over the years to a complex able producing over 850.000 cars per year!
Most people think of the Tahara plant when they talk about the Lexus brand - but Kyushu is much bigger.
can some record this and upload it the next day thx
This will be at the Cambridge plant in Ontario, not in Japan
exactly how do you do that. i have it set on record on my DVR but i have no idea how people put it online
AWESOME! Is the time PST?
I hope nothing gets in the way since I’m already gonna miss this Sunday’s first episode of the new series of Top Gear ;(
Someone should rip it and put up a torrent of it. Like people do with top gear
definitely gonna watch it
Just so everyone knows, Josh was right, this is a video of the Cambridge, Ontario plant. I know this because I work there building the Lexus RX350.
oh ok….i see
Hi,
It would interested me how social Lexus is as an employer?? Can you also compare it maybe with other car manufacturers?
Thanks
time to move to the states bud =)
Tonight is the night!
wooo last day of school!!!
I ended school 3 weeks ago!!! sorry LEXUSaddict i had to say that. lol
aww lucky lol
lucky krew, no more school for him and he gets to drive cool cars for fun.
woohoo airs in 20 minutes!!!
I ended school only 2 days ago, but that’s still earlier than you!
SERIOUSLY… does it matter what time zone we’re in?!
‘cause it airs in just over 20 minutes for me… as of now!
WTF! I missed it!
It’s almost 9:30 as of now, here in LA (Pacific Standard Time).
On Discovery Channel, it was playing something not related to Lexus before 9pm, and right now, it’s something like “Destroyed in Seconds”.
What’s going on?!?!?!?!?!
OMG… silly me… it’s 8pm
and it’s only half an hour long…
WHY AM I SO STUPID!?!?!?!
it was only a 15 minute program. pretty interesting.
Does anyone know where I can watch this episode online. I work at the plant that was shown, and they will be getting a copy in the future, but I don’t know if I will get a chance to see it.
Okay… Now I’m really pissed.
It’s passed 11pm, and I’m watching something about divers fixing a very important oil pipe.
Lexus factories just don’t fit in with today’s shows although I have seen a lot of cars on Discovery Channel today…
BUT DID THEY CANCEL THE 11PM REPLAY?! AND WHAT SORT OF IMPORTANT PERSON IS IN LOS ANGELES THAT NOISY HELICOPTERS HAVE BEEN FLYING OVER MY HOUSE SINCE YESTERDAY? AND HILARY BROKE HER BONES AND HAS TO (or wishes to) WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK FOR SURGERY!
I wanna watch the episode, Josh! lol
You can just watch it on lexus.com. there’s a link at the main page.
on the little box thingy on the bottom right.
is it really only five minutes?!!!
that was a pretty interesting program though. never knew a car like that was made of metal sheets and then put into 1,800 inspections! and WOL, i live in L.A. too, but im in the La Crescenta hills, so i didn’t hear the copters.
