Lexus LX570 Photo Gallery: Industrial Waterway

Next up in my 2009 Lexus LX 570 photo galleries is a collection of three different locations—Lake Ontario (looking more like a windy Hawaii), an abandoned steel mill, and along the Welland Canal:

wow even in a place like that its amazing. the rear sorta reminds me of the 1st gen RX…guess that’s what appeals to me alot.

and #3
Rear looks like the best angle of the LX. What happened to the side chromed rub strips I wonder.
They’re optional on the Toyota Land Cruiser in the US, so I’m guessing they’re optional on the LX in Canda.
I actually prefer the LX without the side molding and the chrome strip because it was just something to “differenciate” the LC and the LX, but it looked out of place and an obvious afterthought.

The profile looks cleaner without the side strips.
As I mentioned in the other gallery post, I’ll do my best to get these wallpapers up on the weekend.
That’s funny, I didn’t notice that the LX in the US had chrome on the side panels—I think there was plenty enough chrome without it.
(Aside: The LX 570 doesn’t look good in black because of all the crazy chrome on the rear—looks like a Navigator.
