Lexus IS-C Sales Expectations

Lexus has shared some of the sales expectations of the new IS convertible—according to Automotive News, the company is hoping for worldwide monthly sales of 1,600 units.
Whether or not such numbers are possible will depend entirely on North America, where 70% of production will be sent. “This is meant to appeal as an entry-level Lexus,” project manager Keiichi Nishiyama told Automotive News. “Its main target is overseas customers, especially in North America.”
Such numbers won’t be hard to achieve during the first few months that the convertible is available, but sustained sales are another story altogether. The IS-C will be available in dealerships later this month.

i think once released theyll cancel the SC430 and keep the ISC. The numbers will raise at least 10% so if the IS sold 43% less last year, it shud be 33 by next year or hopefully some positive numbers for a change :/
i think with that low price tag compare to it’s competitors
it ‘ll sell well and that 1600 per month ‘ll be achieved
All I have to say that the IS-C looks better with the top down. Other then that please release a 3SC that can compete with a CL!
i am with you in the SC3G
i hope they begin to think of it in their lineup
I just noticed that the IS is sitting atop clouds. Beautiful shot, wonder where it was taken.
I tend to take my images from Lexus Europe’s pressroom—they have fantastic photos.
